I just found out that the Co-Owner of the Berenstain Bears passed away this week. THIS is my childhood right here. I grew up reading these books at my Elementary School library. I have fond memories flipping through these books and learning English (I was born in the USA but Korean was my first language). Luckily, their son is still illustrating. Please pray for the family and may Jan rest in peace. Thank you for all that you've done. Your commitment to these illustrations inspired many young children and for me, I never felt alone.
