My 1st Week with Blogger

This past week in the South was hot and kinda humid. Mostly around 81 or 82 degrees with sun shining. I would sit on my couch sweating while my Husky whined from the heat (poor baby). Yesterday, the North East had this horrible tornado storm that hit all the way down to the tips of Florida. Luckily, my area was safe with no damages. I feel so sorry for the people who lost their loved ones this past weekend. A mother's 4 year old child was ripped out of her arms and the child died along with the grandparents. I can not imagine what that mother is going through. With the amount of people's lives that were lost, may you Rest In Peace. I pray for the ones who are alive find some comfort through God and prayer... I am so sorry for your loss.

Today I went to church with my hubby and girl friend, beckywheee. Service was good and afterwards my girl and I went job hunting. The economy is absolutely terrible and the location that I live in is mostly touristy. Hardly any jobs available AND this state has the lowest minimum wage... So here it is, I live in:

Can you believe this? Back in my hometown the average is $7.70! Bleh. Wish me luck!

I've been out of work for over a year now. People tell me that they're jealous. I've basically been on a very long vacation. Currently, everything is being figured out and situated. I plan to go back to school! I look forward to my education and hopefully earning a nice living. I honestly don't want to rely 100% on my husband. It's nice to be taken cared of but I would also like to spoil my husband time to time. He's been super sweet letting me have what I need/want. I always feel guilty when I ask for things. There are times where I'd stay home for weeks just so I wouldn't spend any of his money. I just feel bad. Even when I was growing up I hardly ever asked my parents for money, I just felt bad! Regardless that my hubby is my hubby who's supposed to support me no matter what, I'd also like to return the favor~ besides feeding him, cleaning, laundry, blah blah!

My birthday is in 16 days. I don't know what to expect. I just hope for happiness. I had great birthdays while I was home in Ohio. I will forever cherish those memories. I'm married now and I live 11 hours away from home. It's time for me to relax, be happy and enjoy my birthday like any typical day... Except I hope I get ice cream cake! Yum...

How was your weekend?

Sigma Wish List!

I have never owned any Sigma brushes but for a very long time these brushes have been all the rave on YouTube. Just about every one of my favorite YouTube make-up guru's use Sigma brushes (except for Bubzbeauty, I believe) and the way that the guru's apply their make-up... It always looks flawless. The prices are average but I really, really want face brushes. I've been using mostly drugstore brushes and they're not the best quality. A lot of the bristles come off and I've owned them for a couple years. Sigma brushes would be the best next step for me and I'd probably keep them for years (I trust their quality due to YouTube). Don't they look super nice?! I plan on getting the biggest purchase first, which would be the travel kit. Then the next few months I'd probably slowly order the Synthetic Duo then lastly the Flat Top. I LOVEEEE flat top brushes. They can be used for anything, almost. I've always wanted to collect brushes just because I love applying make-up daily. Using the best quality brushes make such a difference when applying make-up! *drool* Some day... I will own these! My birthday is this month, so hopefully I'll own one of these soon.

I also would love to own this Beauty Blender for my foundation routine. I just recently watched Marianna Hewitt's "Flawless Foundation" YouTube video and it looked flawlessssss! My best friend showed me this a long time ago, when they first came out with this product. I completely forgot about it -__-; My bad. For my foundation I use Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse in Medium Beige 3 during the hot days (because I have oily-combinatioin skin) and during the winter I use Maybelline Dream Smooth Mousse Ultra-Hydrating in 255 Natural Buff. Using the Beauty Blender on these foundations would be fantastic! Normally I use the ELF's Studio Powder Brush (flat top) which I loooooove! It's only $3! Using ELF's brush applies smooth application with foundation and blush. I need to buy a back-up of ELF's brush because I've had mine for over a year and the handle is becoming wobbly. I'm going to have to super-glue that! Hahahaha, seriously nothing beats $3 make-up brushes. *sigh*

Coastal Scents 29% off until 5PM today!

Here I am sharing my small purchases from Coastal Scents! I've been eye-ing the contouring palette and in need of brushes! I always hear good reviews on YouTube about Coastal Scents palettes. I can't wait for these babies to arrive! And they're SO cheap! Next to this cheap would be ELF cosmetics. Hehehe!

In anime (personal) news I just recently finished watching Hell Girl and now I'm finishing up Rosario + Vampire Season 2! In Hell Girl there were some episodes (probably most episodes) I was getting pretty annoyed because of how 'weak' the characters were. One of my pet peeves is people with no back bone! That's just me, personally. Anyway, Hell Girl was okay overall. Right now, Rosario + Vampire is a funny anime with some nudity. I've been cracking up by myself in front of my TV -_____-; I am such a wangta (loner). I just recently found Linda Le's Instagram (very popular cosplay model) "Vampybitme" I am super jealous that she gets to dress up in all these cosplay costumes! She's been attending ComicCon for about 10 years?! And she met Stan Lee! How cool. I know this sounds super geeky but I do have an inner geek in me *heh heh* If you're interested in seeing her photo's, check out her website: www.vampybit.me

In personal life news, my husband is out until tomorrow evening for CAV Spur Ride. They do the spouse Spur Ride but from the details that I read it didn't sound appealing. I have a friend who is in Washington just recently attended the spouse spur ride. She told me she had so much fun, got her own little spur's and told me what she did. NOT as good as the ones that we were supposed to do here so I'm skipping out. I know I should give other Army wives a chance and become friends with them but we just don't click. Most of them have toddlers and are pregnant or they're much older than I. Can't seem to find anything in common with them. I'm hoping the next place we PCS to (move) I'll find army wives to become friends with. I think I'll have a better chance at the new location than I will here. I only have maybe 2 official army wife friends who I keep in touch with time to time. Anyway, I'm sure God has plans for me to meet great friends in the future.

Lately I haven't been posting Eye Of The Day on Instagram because about 1 week ago I fell off my bicycle while exercising Proximo (my Siberian Husky). He was doing so well but I guess it was my fault for only having him on my left side. He tried to move from left to right which made me fall. HARD. On my left side. Ouch. My face, shoulder, hands and left knee was pretty bloody/bruised/scraped. FML right? I wasn't mad at my dog, he didn't know I'm sure. I got up immediately while a lady at the playground asked me if I was okay. Do you know how embarrassing that is? What if someone was watching from a window (I know, how stalker) and saw me fall? They were probably laughing their balls off. Seriously. I got right up, put my bike away and walked back home in pain. My knee was all bloody and I had to shower immediately. I haven't been injured like this in so long. It's pretty pathetic. Hahaha, I bandaged myself up and took some pain killers. You know what sucked even more? The next day my little sister and her boyfriend came down from Atlanta to chill. My little sister was laughing and making fun of my pain -___-; What are sisters for, right?

I will definitely post more stuff later. I hope everyone is having a wonderful morning!
